RPM Pizza

RPM Pizza

Tune® saves RPM Pizza (Domino's) more than 12% in kWh savings* + reduced peak demand charges.

Two years after installing their first stores, RPM executives installed Tune® devices enterprise-wide. Tune® was installed in 170 existing stores (now over 200) and is being added to new locations during construction. Based on the analysis of earlier installations, RPM anticipates savings of more than $100,000 annually from this enterprise-wide investment.

When first introduced to Tune®, RPM executives were skeptical but intrigued. They each installed Tune® in their homes, and after 12 months, they all reported savings of 10% or more. Given the savings in their homes, Tune® was installed in select stores, and results were measured for the following 12 months.

Tune® also delivered significant maintenance savings and a drastic reduction in peak demand charges to RPM.

When RPM Pizza was finalizing its decision to roll out Tune® to almost 200 of its Domino's stores, to assist with their decision, they installed web-enabled data collection meters from Honeywell in several stores.

Real-time data was sent to Honeywell’s Enacto offices in the Netherlands for analysis, and the results were astounding. Energy spikes that were common before Tune® installation in mid-October were all but eliminated.

Honeywell Support Data

The energy spikes above, represent when RPM Pizza exceeded its peak demand agreement with its power company, resulting in inflated kWh charges. The reduction in peak demand charges alone meant significant savings for RPM Pizza, who promptly installed Tune® in all its locations.
